Operated by Uganda Wildlife Authority, it is a budget lodge that is located in the park and was constructed using the local materials like the thatched grass and wood that gives a true African adventure. It’s well managed by UWA and Many wild animals come around this camp to give the visitors a chance to view game without going on a game drive.

The camp has simple bandas (thatched-roofed huts) and safari tents on wooden platforms, all with shared bathroom facilities. Overall, it’s a very nice set-up with a classic park feel. It sells beers and drinks, but the closest food is 1.25km away at the Lakeside Restaurant or at upmarket Arcadia Cottages; UWA can arrange a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) for USh12,000.

Leopard Rest Camp is budget campsite situated just 1 kilometer outside of the Nshara entrance gate. It offer a variety of accommodation, activity, and safari options for every type of traveler. Bush Camping

The camps has a plenty of great sites for visitors to choose from. Visitors who are interest in bush camping can come with their own tents.  Shared shower & toilet facilities aren’t far away.  The camp have a separate kitchen & cooking facility  for those with their own food, even though they can take their meals from the camp’s  restaurant. You can also rent a tent, mattress or bedding at the camp.

Lazy Camping

The lazy camping tents allow you to get the wilderness experience without having to sleep on the ground. Each tent is elevated on a concrete platform and is covered by a thatched roof. The hand-crafted beds use raw local materials and are specially made in-house. Shared shower & toilet facilities are close by. Single, twin & double options available.

Safari Tents

The safari tents features an adjacent private outdoor toilet & shower for the full bush experience. Each tent has a private deck where guest can enjoy the best sunset views. Single, twin, double & triple options available.

Luxury Safari Tents

Luxury Safari Tents  are thatch covered, raised and set on beautiful wooden floor. They have spacious verandas that offer beautiful panorama views around the valley, and are the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. The tents are self contained with outdoor toilet/ shower facilities.  Each tent contains 2 large double beds to cater to families or even one or two people who like to have lots of space.

• Dining; the camp offer 3-course meals prepared an experienced chef. The camp offers breakfast, lunch & dinner. It work from a set menu with a meat and vegetarian options offered for each meal.
• Sundowner; An hours nature walk will take you to the lookout point, where we’ll make things comfortable and settle in to watch the sunset. Vehicle will bring you back to the camp.  Drinks and snacks included.
• Bar: Fully stocked bar containing different spirits, wines and there are soft drinks.

10 self contained safari tents with verandas overlooking Lake Mburo National Park. Each room is furnished with twin beds.

Eagle’s Nest also offers non-self-contained tents furnished with 2 single beds with a bedside table and a power outlet for charging your electrical equipment. All tents are placed under a grass thatched roof which creates your private terrace and provides some welcome shade. The tents share a communal ablution block with showers and flushing toilets. No need to worry about linen as all bedding and towels are provided.
